Dragons' Den First Semester Week 11: Sports & Grades

Yes and No.
Some students don't have time for grades because they get really tired after practice and their body just shuts down.
But also you do want to set a requirement for the students to meet so that they have their school work and their homework done.
So it's a yes and no answer. But you also have to look at the student and sometimes the student is having issues outside of school that may be causing the problems that the student can't get his work done.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 0: Video Games, Texting, or Sleeping

Prompt B: Why do you engage in lengthy texting conversations?  Think about how it makes you feel.


Some kids text on the phone alot maybe because they don't have minutes so they text the ones that they love or their friend.
Sometimes they forget their homework and want to get it so they text their friends.
Now why they dont do their homework and text their friends is a different reason.
They become lazy and their friends text them so they just stay in one spot and text until they have nothing more to say. Or they text people to kill their boredom or so that they don't think about their homework.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 10: Homecoming

Homecoming week was really boring and yeah. I did not do anything last week.
Homecoming dance was really stupid and disappointing.
I'm not gonna go into details but it was so bad I left after a hour of doing nothing.
So to sum it all up i'm not going to anymore dances.
But homecoming game was really fun. We blew them out 59 to 0.

The game was way too easy.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 8: Friends or Adults?

In my life, my friends, real friends, are more important because I only got a few and they can help me when I need help. One reason is that I make friends with people who are like me and if I become their friends then i'm gonna have a good relationship with them and that I know that I can trust them and that they can trust me. Additionally I know if I ever need anything i can ask them for it. One last reason is that my friends are like family to me and I care about my friends alot. -I let these people know I appreciate them by showing up when they need me and always being there for them.

Dragons Den 7: Would You Rather?

I would you rather get caught singing in the mirror because I already been caught singing in my room dramatically. So getting caught singing in the mirror is nothing because I would keep singing.
 Additionally I wouldn't really care because the females would love it anyways so that's brownie points for me .One last reason is that I love to hear my voice knowing it sounds good. In the future, I hope for nothing different.

Dragons Den: Campus Donations

I think the donations are a good thing because they keep the students heads up, letting us know that there is still hope.
The donations are also from people who care about us and sometimes the people we care about too, so it's a good relationship either way.
It also makes us more grateful and forgiving.

Dragons Den: Power Outage

When the power went out I was in my house with my house parent and my house social worker.
I was watching t.v. and the power just turned off. I sat there for two minutes waiting for it to turn back on. But it didn't so I sat there. I couldn't go outside because I didn't go to school that day so I had to stay inside. It was hot as heck to. Then they had to cook dinner in the Cafe' because that was  the only place that had power. So we had to wait 4 hours for them to be done. Then the office said that we can all hang out in the Cafe and we just had fun up there. Then everyone went home and the power came back on around 1 or 2 o'clock in the morning.

Dragons Den: Shoes

My favorite brand of shoes are Nikes,Vlados, and Vans.
Nikes are good for basketball and running.
Vlados are good for jerkin and for fashion.
Vans are good for fashion, and skateboarding.
In case you have never seen them, these shoes are in style.
They come in all colors and sizes which is great for anybody.
I do not wear these shoes on a regular basis because I only wear them when I go to ouside places like the mall or other nice places.
If I saw one of my peers wearing these shoes, I would asked them wear they got them from.

Dragons Den: Colors

A color that represents me is red, white, green, and black.
Red represents my emotion when i'm super heated because I became reckless and not care about anything at all.
White represents when i'm peaceful and caring. Like super caring and careful.
Green represents my favorite color and is when i'm happy and excited.
Black represents when i'm super mad and I don't feel like talking to anyone..and i'm too mad to care.

First Day of School 2011

When I woke up on the first day of my Junior year of school at San Pasqual Academy I was tired.
I got out of bed, wiped my eyes, and fell back asleep.
Then my staff came in and woke me up so I had to get up.
Then I got dressed, brushed me teeth, and cleaned myself up.
Then I got out of the house to go to school.
The first class I had was Ms. Ramierez, and I heard first period was kinda hard so I wasn't really excited.
But then I found out that the class is easy as long as you stay on track with your work.
Then I had Ms. Priester...again.
Then I had Mr.Bello, and in that class all we had time to do is the introduction.
Then I had
P.E., and that class is the only class I think i'm gonna pass this year.
Then I had 2nd lunch, I was happy to hear that.
Then I had Mr. Fenich, and we just went over the rules.

Then for the last period of the day I had Ms.Davis

End of Year Reflection – Greatest High School Achievement

My Greatest High School Achievement would be easy.
Somehow I managed to get a 3.4 without trying.
When they first told me, I honestly didn't beleive them.
I mean I have always been below a 2.o.
But now that I only do class work and homework, it's so easy.
I was proud but now it seems like I should do better.
So next year, i'm gonna try to get a 4.0.
That shouldn't be too hard.
Hopefully I get alot of rewards at the end of the year.

End of Year Reflection – Greatest High School Obstacle

The biggest obstacle I had to deal with is my memoirs and my weight.
The memories of the fun times I had when I was skinner and how I miss my best friend.
My best friend got addicted to drugs and alcohol, I can't even look at him in the eyes anymore.
I'm honestly hopping that he makes it.
Nobody knows how that feels mentally.
I know I can make it but everyone in my life has given up.
I guess I have to make it on my own.
But I know I can do it.
I swear I've been through everything in life besides a coffin.
Like I know I'm gonna make it, even if I don't, this are still my best memories.

Posters in the Hall

I think that it is kinda wrong because not all great quotes are from Caucasian people.
There's quotes from Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks, Malcom X, The Black Panthers, and a whole lot of other black people.
So people should just be so closed-minded about choosing people.
I would have done it but i choose i different center.
I also think that it would be better if people choose other races too instead of just Caucasian and Black people.
I don't know what or who, but i'm just saying it would be cool if we did other races too.

It would be awesome.

Third Quarter Awards Review

Well i should've won two of those awards because i worked really hard and i was on time everyday.
It doesn't make since. It's like i tried but got nothing out of hard work. But mostly what surprised me was

that more than half of the awards went to the girls. I know alot of us guys are doing good to but i feel like most of the girls are getting the credit. It just doesnt make since.

“Animal Farm” Revolution at SPA

If students had a revolution it would turn the place upside down.
The students would be fighting, some would be running away from staff, or the police.
Others would probably sit and watch and laugh at everyone acting up.
The houses would be robbed, the classrooms would be burned down.
The students would be fighting eachother,the staff, and the police.
The guys would be at the girls houses and vise versa.
The principle would quit and never come back.
Same with the staff.
The cafe would be robbed of all its goods.SPA would turn into a war-zone.

San Pasqual Academy Dragons Symbolism

Our mascot is the dragon.
The reason why is because we are stong.
We went through hard obstacles to get where we are today.
But to keep going, and not failing apart totally is why we are strong.'
This place symbolizes power, and strength.
Thats why we are the Dragons.
It feels like whatever to be a dragon.
I really don't care but then i do.

Friday

Well on friday we watched Freedom Writers because they said that we were doing alot of writing. The movie was around 2 hours long. Then we went to the gym and played till the end of the day. Then we had a BBQ and then we went home.
