I can relate to the "Grape Sherbet" poem because i like grapes and i love ice cream.
The phrases that help me imagine this poem are Sherbet, recipe, milk, and lavender.
Imagery helps the reader to think about the story and what some of the symbols mean.

My Lyric Poem

when I dance I feel free
when I am free all I hear is the music
The music is the rythm to my feet

jerkin is my passion
without it i am lost again
jerkin is what keeps my blood flowing and my heart alive

All i hear is sounds
Not words sounds
Just sounds coming from nowhere but there and here

He's saying that he doens't have anything to offer us so he's going to offer us his poem.That's why the emotion of this poem was love.

"Same Song" Paragraph

The theme or message of the poem is looking good my please other people but it may not please the person trying to look good.Looking good is important because sometimes when you look really nice people will say nice things to you. But if you really don't care what people say to you or about you, then it wouldn't really matter.People try to look good to impress other people. When you look good, everyone will act different around you like your someone new. Sometimes it's worth putting a lot of effort and time into your physical appearance because you could hang out with someone, and if they do like the way your dressed, the might not want you to hang out with them. So sometimes it's worth it, but most of the time, like when you have a day off and your staying at home, it really shouldn't matter what you wear or what you apperance is. In the end I think your apperance really matters to only you. People should be dressed to impress but at the same time you shouldn't care what people think about you.

"Heart! We will forget him!" Paragraph

In the poem "Heart! We will forget him!" the speaker in the poem speaks directly to her heart as if it were another person, a possible reason she talks to her heart seperately could be that she doesn’t want to think that she has gone crazy or whatever so she talks to her heart.
I think that she is lonely and have no one to talk to so she talks to her heart to make it seem like she is not talking to herself.
If someone needed to talk to someone about their problems and no one was there for them they would probably talk to themselves.
One way I can relate to this poem is the way i had my heart broken so i had no one to talk to so i kept it all to myself.
