Dia de los Muertos - Pick a Person

I'm doing my Dia de los Muertos  person is Orlando Brown who played offensive tackle in the NFL.
He was first on the Baltimore Ravens in March, 2006 then switched to  the Cleveland Browns.
After playing football he became the owner of the first Fatburger.
He died of diabetic ketoacidosis. It's common among diabetics and caused by high blood sugar and other stuff.

“Two Kinds” Character Analysis Paragraph

In "Two Kinds," Jing-mei is rude and snotty. Her mom thinks that she is inconsiderate and incooperative. Her mother wants her to think more and talk less. Jing-mei wastes Old Chong's time by making mistakes and not correcting them. She also embarrassed her mother when she didn't play the correct notes at the talent show. Jing-mei doesn't want to play the piano because she doesn't want to be a prodigy. Jing-mei told her her mother that she wished she was never born like the babies she lost in China. Jing-mei thought she was going to play the piano well, despite not fixing her mistakes. Jing-mei also thought about punching and pulling another girl's pigtails because the girl told her that Jing-mei wasn't as good as she thinks. Jing-mei is like real people becuase when they make mistakes, they don't fix them. When it comes time to perform, they mess up, get mad, and take out their frustration on others.

"Two Kinds" Mother-Daughter Conflict

-In the conflict between Jing-mei and her mother, Jing-mei is right about her choice.
No child should be force to do anything that they don't want to.
Jing-Mei doesn't want to become a prodigy because she just wants to have fun. Also she doesn't even like the piano and there are other things she would rather do. But she doesnt like it.

"Two Kinds" Before You Read: Something You Don't Want to Do

So I decided to leave the football team because of problems i was having on and off the field.
Everyone who didn't apperciate me on the team told me yesterday to just leave because I already had something planned and the last minute change up killed it.
So people yelled at me and I just decided that they could do fine without me.
I had my reasons and I don't want to be in a sport where my heart isn't in it.
People want to yell at me and not yell at everyone else who quit, but it's whatever.
I had my reason and I did what I thought was the right choice.
I kinda felt bad because I left during the middle of the season and I feel like I should've stayed commited but it's hard to be commited to a sport you don't like expecially when no one thinks you matter to the team.
But I still have to say no and just get caught up on my work and get other things taken care of.

"Everyday Use" Before You Read: Tradition

Fifteen years from now, I will still celebrate Chrismas with my children or grand children.
This tradition involves giving presents and taking the day off to be around caring friends and caring families.One of my happy memories of this tradition is getting more than one present and something that I actually wanted, and even if I was in trouble, I still got to open my presents and keep them, at least when I got to San Pasqual Academy. I will share this with children by  having them write down what they want and trying my best to get them the presents. By sharing this tradition with future generations, I hope that they will learn to share with their future friends and families.
